Crooms Immigration Law Logo
This was a logo design project for Crooms Immigration Law, a great firm started by my sister-in-law. She wanted the logo to incorporate a quetzal, which is the national bird of Guatemala where her mother’s family is from, and a significant symbol within Aztec and Mayan traditions. The quetzal is an exceptionally beautiful bird. I was excited to see if I could create a design that is simple enough for a logo, but retains some of the quetzal’s recognizable characteristics like its long tail.
Before we landed on this direction, we also explored a few other typographic and symbol-based logos, which I’ve also shown below. I think the quetzal was ultimately the right choice for her company though.
